Doodle-bud

What a little angel we have in our family. I don't know where he got his nickname, but he is "doodle" to us all the time now.

He's finally gotten the hang of smiling for the camera (as shown above). Its still kind of hard to tell, though, and those big dark eyes are usually just giving the staredown in most of his pictures still.
Better yet, he thinks that smile means "cheese it huge, with your eyes sqeezed shut." Makes for some great pictures.
We got a guitar for Christmas this year, and guess who loves it? Oh yes. Dan doesn't like to put it in the closet, so Seth will grab the pick and start strumming away any old time.

And this little munchkin is getting so independent. He still doesn't speak much, but what's the big deal? He can go grab his own box of cereal, open it up and munch away, all by himself. This is how we found him while he was watching Cars as we got ready for the day on Sunday. Actually, Emma took this picture, and we probably would never had know he had a midmorning snack if she hadn't come shown it to us.
