Summer Fun

We had some fun visitors over the Fourth of July holiday. Dan's mom and sister came up to Great Falls and we had a very fun time!

We played at the park a lot.

We went mini golfing. Seth didn't particularly enjoy the golfing part, but he loved climbing on the courses (there were big signs asking people not to climb on them, but the little rascal could not resist).
He also found a sprinkler that kept him very busy while we golfed.
Emma, surprise surprise, actually enjoyed the golfing. She was getting pretty good at getting it in the hole.

We spent lots of time at a couple of different parks.

Having fun in the field full of giant blow flowers.
Seth really could not get enough of these weeds.

We had a fun water day in the hot, hot Montana sun. One of Seth's favorite things ever is getting "wet." It makes me a little scared of potty training.
Emma also loves to get wet.
No one will ever win a staring contest against Seth. Ever.

We also had an un-birthday party for Emma so that grandma and Trisha could celebrate with us. How fun!
We were so lucky to have grandma and Trish here, so that Dan and I could take off for a couple of days to Las Vegas. Dan had a training there for a few days, and I went along to enjoy some "alone" time. Dan learned a lot, and I had a great time shopping and going to the spa. We got to see some fun shows, and attended a great party on the last night. By the time we got home, though, we were beyond exhausted. All this summer fun might just do us in. This is how we felt when we got home:
And there sums up our wild and crazy week of the Fourth. We had such a ball, and cannot even say thank you enough to our wonderful family for helping us out and coming to see us. It's always nice to have visitors, and always nice to get a few days away together. Thanks a billion!!!!!

Very fun!! I can't believe how big Seth looks!! He's a little kid! And I'm a bit jealous of your fun trip to Vegas! It would be fun to do just a couple trip! I also loved all your Lagoon pictures. Brought back great memories of going to Lagoon with my favorite cousins!!
