Happy Thanksgiving

Who could beat our Thanksgiving this year? It was probably the best ever!

About two months ago, Dan and I decided that the time had come to make the trek to Disneyland. We decided that we might as well go visit Mitch and Sonnie and meet baby Cora while we were at it. So, we invited ourselves over for Thanksgiving, and all we good to go. Well, word started getting around, and the rest of my family thought that sounded fun. And, through our newest little sister in law, we got a hold of a huge beach house. So, we all got to stay together and have Thanksgiving on the beach. It was awesome! This was the view from the back windows. We saw dolphins in the ocean each morning, we were lulled to sleep by the waves, and Dan enjoyed a Thanksgiving day surfing session.
Had to add this - the joy of traveling with kids. We flew to CA, and the kids were super excited to do that. But, still, how do you keep a 6 year old princess and a 2 year old wild child under control during those times of waiting? By letting them swim in the decorative fountain? It almost happened.
We spent one day at the zoo with our cousins. So much (exhausting) fun.
This is our yo-yo Johan. He's our newest little brother, and the kids couldn't get enough of him (not to mention how much the adults love him).

There was one tragedy of the trip. We traveled all the way there with the purpose to meet our newest little neice, Cora. And guess what? I made it home without a single picture of her. I just do not think about these things as they are happening. Luckily, I think we will see her again soon, so I'm setting a goal to take lots and lots of pictures then.
