Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We sure did! Here are some hightlights of our break.
Here is Dan chipping away 1 inch thick ice off of our car the day before we left. It didn't make our 13 hour drive look too promising. We did hit a little snow around Laramie, but it only set us back about an hour or two, so overall, we did pretty good.

Emma had a great time with her cousins, or "tussins" as she would say. She and Addie played so many cute little games. Here they are, doing eachother's hair with eating utinsels.

There was a big storm the day after we arrived, and the snow was amazing. I had forgotten about how beautiful Utah snow is. This is Emma and Sonnie demonstrating how deep it was.

And here is Dan with his masterpeice, Mr. Snowman.

And here is Gavin, eating Mr. Snowman.

We went sledding on the mountain behind mom and dad's house. It was the perfect run!

At the base of the slide. The kids loved going down, coming back up was not as fun, though.
This is some sort of Star Valley tradition- you get the iceckles from the roof, put them upside-down in the snow, and drizzle food coloring over them. They look pretty amazing in the sunlight.
Quite an ice-castle, huh?

And finally, Christmas day. In case you were wondering, Santa did find us at grandma and grandpa's house.

Emma got her doll house. She was so excited!!! She alse recieved a ton of little accessories to put in it. Her grandparent's all spoiled her to death (and I don't think I need to mention her parents).

Grandma and Grandpa P gave Emma a castle tent. She couldn't get enough of it.

In fact, we got home very late friday night, and the first thing she asked when she got up the next morning was for her tent. She and Dan set it up before I even got out of bed, before breakfast, even. Then Dan went down and set up the Wii (before breakfast, even).

Opening presents was so fun! This was really the first year that she understood about the surprize inside, and she loved it.
Playing a pony game while trying out her new camera ("tammer").
We want to tell our family how much we love them and appreciate them. Thank you for everything you teach us and do for us. We love you!!!

Hey Mran,
I got a Wii for my birthday. We even got Mario Kart! Torrey connected it to the internet, so we could race each other if you want :) Let me know!
