Merry Christmas

It's been a while since my last post, and we are going out of town for the next two weeks, so we figured we better tell everyone a merry Christmas.
Christmas has been amazing this year. Emma is old enough to understand that Santa is coming, and that she gets a "treat" if she is good. We went and found Santa at the mall, and we had prepped her to ask him for a doll house (so that she recieves the correct present on Christmas morning). So, she walked up to him, and said "I want a doll house" before she was even on his lap. Well, he was a sweet Santa, and told her to be good and that he might have a surprise for her as well.

Christmas isn't Christmas unless I get some piano playing in. And this year, I sure did. I played at three different schools for several different concerts. And then, on Saturday, I played at the botanical gardens. This is me with my little helper. Great fun.
Emma and Dan hanging out while I played the piano.
Also at the gardens in front of the huge poinsetta tree. Emma thought this was great. Then she pulled her shirt up over her head and yelled "merry christmas."
It's a tradition for the gardens to put out trains around their Christmas decorations. Emma ran around, figuring out where each one went.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!!

So cute!! I am glad you get to get in some good piano playing! That is one of my favorite parts of Christmas and I'm not nearly as talented as you. But it is hard to get too much playing in at this house....my helpers aren't nearly as dainty as yours! I love how dang cute Emma is! What a doll! I definitely am going to miss seeing you guys this Christmas! Hopefully it will not be too long before we see you again!
