Introducing. . . Seth Adam P.
Born June 15th at 6:58 P.M.
6 lbs 15 oz and 20 1/2 inches long
Little Angel right after he was born. Dan and I waiting in the waiting room all day long, until finally they came out and told us he had been born. Then we got to go back and see Sheena and Seth. They both did very well. Then, we got to take Seth back into the nursery and spend some time with him and help with his first bath.
It was love at first sight. And you can see why. What a sweet little thing.
Big brown eyes (that seem to be open a lot) and tons of thick, long black hair.

Out of respect for hers and Seth's privacy, we are not going to post any pictures of Sheena. But let me share with you how much we love her. Unless you have adopted, you probably can't understand how amazing birth parents are. Sheena is the most loving, unselfish person we've met. She loves little Seth more than anything, but she signed the papers last night, knowing that her baby is getting exactly what she knows he needs- a mommy and a daddy who will love him and care for him. We gave her the larger of these blankets, which I made with the same fabric as the little one I made Seth.
The day after he was born. He looks very different. We can't wait to get this little stranger home and start getting to know him.
What an emotional few days it's been. There has been excitement, stress, worry, but most of all thankfulness that this miracle has happened to us.

I am so excited for you guys! I know you have wanted this for a long time. Also, i am so glad that you are closer. I am going to Virginia for the summer to be with Torrey while he is at training, but I will be back in October. I will have to come see your little guy then.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so excited for you!! And he is a gorgeous little boy!! How is Emma doing? She is going to be the best big sister! I cannot wait to see you guys! Hopefully soon...
Congratulations - He isuch a beautiful baby - he couldn't ask for better parents. Tell Emma congrats also, she'll be such a good sister.
Oh my! Congrats! You guys are going through a lot of very exciting changes right now. I'm so happy for you!
