We had a wonderful Easter this year! We spent an extra-long weekend down in sunny St George with my mom's family. It was a great holiday.

Before we went to St George, we did a little celebrating in the arctic (otherwise known as Sandy). Our ward had an Easter Egg hunt. I'm always so amazed at how much little kids love this. And then I remember how much I used to love it - and now how much I love watching my kiddos do it. Emma had a blast!

We also died Easter eggs the monday before Easter. Dan and Emma love eating eggs, and Dan would argue that hard-boiled eggs are one of the best parts of Easter. I don't agree, but we still had to do a dozen before we left.

Seth didn't get to dunk any, but he feasted a yummy biter biscuit and loved it!

I love dying easter eggs!

And could Dan handle anything less than perfection with his eggs? No way. They were works of art when finished.

We were lucky enough to celebrate Easter with some our bestest buddies from Omaha, Creighton and Jackson. And I got to see the mommy and catch up. It was such a nice visit.

And finally, we headed down south where it was warm enough to color eggs in our undies. And Emma was in heaven.

Evan didn't quite share the thrill of coloring in undies, and chose to leave his shorts on.

And here are my precious little Easter kids. I can't help but put them in matching clothes!

So sweet. I love them so much. I'm so happy to know that they will be mine forever.

Happy little guy! Lovin the Easter joy.

Cuties.

We spent lots of time in the car. Seth was a good sport, but obviously didn't love it.

Emma is always a great traveler. Especially when we stop at Jimmy John's, she orders a "plain bread" sandwich, and gets a whole loaf of yummy bread.

And how could we not spend some fun time swimming? My little fish loved it!

Is the sun a little bright, bud? Classic little Seth sneer.

My little brother with my little girl. Two of the happiest, funnest people ever. Two peas in a pod.
