With all the rain we've received lately, our river is literally bursting at the seams. Sadly, there has been lots of flooding in our area (luckily, we haven't been affected). On a more positive note, the falls in town are absolutely spectacular. We've been to see all of them, they are all picture perfect.
With the sun at this angle, I wasn't able to get a really great shot. This is the best I could do.
Seth enjoyed the lookout. I was afraid that Seth was going to have a serious case of "fear of hights" because he was always nervous about climbing up the playground equipment last year. I should have been hoping he would have a fear of hights, because this year, he will climb up anything! He loved looking over this cliff, and especially loved the tipsy bridge we had to cross to get to the island. No fear here!
We got to spend this day at the dam with some good friends who will be leaving us soon. This is Emma's friend Gracie.
Even though Gracie is about 2 years older than Emma, they have played together so well. She's been Emma's adopted big sister.
So much fun climbing on the rocks.
