HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
Mother's day is wonderful day for a girl with a family as wonderful as mine. Dan has a talent for taking over and making a the day really special. He had our house nice and clean, and we had a very nice day at church. Then, we had a great barbeque with some good friends.
Besides the lovely day, I received some great gifts. The kids made me these planters at home depot, and put those cool cactus' in them for me. Emma made me the pink vase at school, along with a darling little note (pictured later).
And then, oh surprise, I recieved this: yes, it's a telescope. And Dan came up with the gift all by himself. Only someone who knows me really well can appreciate how excited I am about this.
Okay, I realize that mother's day is a great time for kids to tell their moms how much they love them, but can a mom help but reflect on the blessings in her life? Especially when her kids are great as mine. Seriously, check out these little cuties.
Finger painting some masterpieces.

They really are beyond special. I am the luckiest mommy in the world. My children are the light of my life. I am so lucky to have them. They are both so sweet, funny, loving. I mean, how many children are thankful to mommy for teaching them how to "spit out my toofpaste."?
