Dancing

Emma started dancing this week. She was so excited, she wore her dancing clothes the whole day before. She and her little buddie Gracie signed up to go together. They begged and begged to go long before it was time. Gracie's mom took them while I was at a funeral, and she got these great shots of the little ballerinas. They loved it. Emma has been wearing her ballet shoes almost constantly since. She's not allowed to wear them outside, but she does everywhere else, including to sleep!

Emma and Gracie with twinner hair-do's, waiting to go to dancing.
Sitting in a circle with all the other little dancers. There were quite a few kids in the class.
They do 15 minutes of ballet and then 15 minutes of tap. I guess they mostly just practiced standing up in the tap shoes. Apparently they're pretty slippery on a wood floor. What fun!!

How fun for Emma! I just started Hayley in a similar class here (ballet and tap) and she loves it too. Little girls love to be ballerinas!

She looks just like her mommy in her dancing outfit when she was pretty close to that age. How fun to relive those memories with grandkids!!!
