Here is our little pre-schooler, headed off to her first day of school. Actually, we just stepped outside, snapped the picture and then headed back inside for school, because pre-school is in our basement, and mommy is the teacher! It has been great fun. My class this year is a little younger than last year's, but they have all been so sweet so far. They get along good, and love to try new things. And Emma thinks it is so much fun to have her friends over twice a week to play and do "projects."

Emma loves to sing lately. And she loves to be outside. However, we are not allowed to go outside to play in our jammies. So, when she asked to go outside yesterday, we told her no. In response, she said "not play outside, sing outside." Curious about what she was going to do, we told her okay. She went out and stood at the top of our hill, overlooking the playground, held her arms out, and sang at the top of her lungs. It was hillarious. There were lots of people on the playground, too.

Here is a random picture of Emma at the zoo with the jellyfish. I thought it looked cool.

What a cutie!! I love the picture with her arms outstretch singing for the pleasure of others!! Adorable!
That's neat that you're teaching preschool! I've only done little co-op groups where all the moms take turns. And what a cute picture of Emma singing outside -- what song was she serenading everyone with?
So much fun! Good for you snapping pics on your porch for her first day of school. I would have been too frantic making sure everything was ready for all the other students but you're so organized I'm sure that was the least of your concerns. She looks darling.
Marianne!
I just wanted to drop a comment on here and tell you how great it was to meet you and spend time together this past week. Emma is a doll and so much fun to be around. I took some really cute pictures of her and Jackson so check them out on my blog later today! Thanks for everything!
