Happy October!!

A new walking bridge just opened last week. It crosses the Missouri River. It's only a few miles from our house, and right next to one of our favorite places to walk and bike.
It's a true suspension bridge, and we could actually feel it swaying in the wind while we crossed. It's covered with some really pretty lights that come on a night.
We found these little wings the other day that match her purple princess dress-ups perfectly. She's been wearing them all over, including out on the playground. One of our neighbors said "fly away, Emma," when he saw her out running around with them on. So, she's been running around yelling "fly away, Emma!" It's pretty funny.
I made this!
I've been looking for warm nightgowns, since Emma only wants to wear dresses to bed, but I just haven't found any. So, we happened to find a pattern and we made this "pretty dress." She thinks she needs to wear it all the time.

That is adorable! I am so impressed with your homemaking skills! I can't even imagine what it would be like to have someone want to wear dresses all the time, even to bed! She is so cute and I love her new wings!! Too Cute!!

Okay, so now my attempts at sewing are looking more than pathetic. I can't believe you made that! It is so pretty! Wow! Was it hard? Did you ever cry over it? You are so talented!

I love the nightgown! It reminds me of the ones I had when I was little. It looks so cute on her!

I love the fairy outfit! We just bought Tori a very similar one for Halloween. It's too bad we don't live close anymore. Tori and Emma could have had some fun times together.
