Bryce Canyon

We spent our Fourth of July holiday in Bryce Canyon with my sister. But before that, here are some pics from our first pool party at aunt Jill's.

Seth thouroughly (I always regret using that word because I really can't spell) enjoyed it. Can you tell?

On our way home from Bryce, we drove through Escalante. We were told that it would only be an hour out of our way - five hours later, we were back to civilization. My dad found a Denny's (I know some of you wil appreciate that, after Havasupi), and we were finally on our way home.

Emma didn't seem to mind the extra driving. A portabe DVD player helps. Plus, she's a dang good-natured kid.

And Seth, of course, had a ball.

The cousins!

It actualy was really pretty. Dan enjoyed it a lot more than I did. He wanted a picture of every single thing.

This is at Bryce. We rode the big shuttle so that we could get all 13 of us in the park on dad's pass.

Like I said, Dan likes to get pictures of eveything. I really can't comment, except to say it was so beautiful.

Here we are, a happy family. Camping with the three week old. And he actually did great. I've wondered if we shoud go back - he hasn't slept so good since we've been home.

I like climbing rocks. And stuff. Did you know that about me? I get it from my dad. My poor husband is slightlly afraid of heights, but he's gotten way better.

We climbed a radio tower. It was really high. That's my crazy little brother, Mitch.

And we climbed lots of rocks.

Emma was scared of the rocks falling on her. So she wanted to get out as quickly as possible, as you will see.

One of the highlights of the trips, for the boy anyway, was tipping over dead trees.

I just checked through this post and noticed all of the typos. Here's my disclaimer: I did this entire thing with one hand and a fussy baby in the other. And I'm just not going to go through and fix it. Good luck figuring out what I'm talking about!!!

What beautiful pictures & a beautiful family! Emma's & your hair is getting soo long, it looks great! Seth is just getting cuter & cuter! That's awesome that he did so good camping, especially since you guys like camping! There's not so many typos, there's no way I could blog while holding a fussy baby, so kudos to you!

There is hardly any typos, you go girl! That trip looks like fun and I am happy that Seth did so well with the camping. I know that I only live a short distance from Bryce Canyon but we never make the time or effort to go there. Thanks for the pictures, now it feels like I went!
