EMMA
Emma had her year-end dance performance on Friday.
It was a tap number to "Baby Take a Bow".
She actually got a small case of nerves before the performance this time. But, it didn't last long. As soon as she got all dressed up and excited, she didn't even think twice. The girl loves to be in front of people!
And sweet little brother was as excited as she was (even though he had no idea what was going on - when his sis gets worked up, he does too).
We were all so proud of her. She worked hard and had a great attitude. Daddy got her the now-expected flowers, that she just loves (makes the whole year worth it).
And the most tender part of the night was when she came out after, and Seth squealed and gave her a huge hug. It was so sweet. He didn't want to let go - and neither did she!
Here is Emma with her good friend Gracie. The other shots I took of her with some other little dances didn't work out, but she loves to go be with the other little girls who dance with her. (She's pretending she's a flower shop owner in this picture. We couldn't convince her to just smile.)
What a fun thing for Emma to do!
