And I really mean POLAR. We've moved to the arctic. A few weeks ago, we went to sleep and woke up the next morning to snow. Emma, not knowing it was only the first day of October, was in Heaven. She put on her new snow clothes and she and Dan built a snowman. Seth walked around, rather confused, and tried to figure the cold stuff out.
But then, a few days later, it felt like summer again. We've enjoyed beautiful weather the past week and a half. Bike rides, hikes and lots of playing outside. We spent a really nice day at the state park. We love the state park by our house. There's really a lot to do, like:
Climbing trees. . .
. . .whether you are young or old.
Seth really wanted to climb the tree, but settled on climbing a little rock. When he couldn't get up the rock, he sat down and gave me a scolding look. Sorry bud, you'll be climbing those rocks soon enough.
Emma got tired at the end of our hike, and since Dan nor I would carry her, she took a seat in the middle of the path, and had a nice little rest.
Seth, on the other hand, would have nothing of being carried. He walked the entire way. Well, mostly.
He also did a lot of this:
And a lot of this. At least he knows how to enjoy the world around him.
Emma did a lot of this:
She's not mad! I swear. She just wanted me to take a picture of her band-aid, and I couldn't resist posting the absurd picture, that had Dan and I cracking up, that she totally doesn't understand.
The state park is right next to the river, and we love to look at it. It's beautiful.

That picture of the snowman made me cringe. I am not looking forward to winter. You missed the -30 month last year. I'm sure you were so sad. Are you going to Utah for Christmas? I'd love to see you.
