It's a big one: Dan turned 30 this weekend! He's getting so old! But does he feel it? No. When someone asked him if he feels different, he said "I feel smarter, but not much else." Good. We'll take that.
Dan got some fun gifts from his awesome family, including a blue-ray disk player. Of course, we couldn't help giving him some toys. This remote control truck took was the highlight. Seth loved it when it wasn't moving, but it was kind of scary when it was going. Emma is getting pretty good at driving it (if you consider knowing forward and back good).
What a man! I attempted a molten lava cake, but it ended up being more of a gooey chocolatey cake. I guess it will do for the choc-a-holic in the family.

Oh, and is it fair for me to add this on the end of his birthday post? Oh well. Look what I made? I cross-stitched this little crown a few years ago, pulled it out last week and decided to finish it. It's a little Halloween pillow now. Fun, huh?

Happy Birthday Dan!! I can't believe you are so old! :) Marianne, I love your Halloween pillow. How cute!! So, over conference we went and visited Grandma and Grandpa Lowe and Grandma asked if I had seen Seth's comercial. I said, "I know! That kid looks just like Seth!" That is when she informed me that it WAS Seth!! I had no idea!! There is no doubt that he is just the cutest kid ever!!
